Synopsis

War. Patriotism. Duty. Where do the connections between them and the truth lie?

THE WAKE UP CALL is equal parts beautiful, tragic, inspiring and mind-changing as we follow a double-amputee veteran as he tries to make sense of the senseless. How does he build a new life of meaning when everything he believed in was blown to pieces? The main character, Dave Evans, is supported by a Greek chorus of fellow survivors, aggressors and civilians alike.
