Synopsis

Phil Demers, an animal trainer at MarineLand in Niagara Falls, blows the whistle on the maltreatment of marine mammals in captivity. Known in the media as the "Walrus Whisperer," Phil is being sued for $1.5 million for plotting to kidnap the animal he fell in love with -- a walrus named Smooshi.
